Dispatch No. 1164/TCGDNN-DTCQ on guiding the application of specialized English programs
To promote teaching and learning foreign languages in vocational education, especially for national, regional and international key industries and occupations; implementing the Project on Teaching and learning foreign languages in the national education system for the period 2008-2020″ according to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 1400/QD-TTG dated September 30, 2008 of the Prime Minister, in 2019, the Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs has developed and issued 12 English for Special Purposes programs at level 3 and level 4 for industries and occupations including:
– Biotechnology;
– Tourguide;
– Travel management;
– Managing a restaurant;
– Resort management;
– Administration of computer networks;
– Information technology (software application);
– Graphic design;
– Mechatronics;
– Electrical installation and control engineering in industry;
– Industrial electronics;
– Engineering of refrigeration and air conditioning.
On the basis of issued specialized English programs, vocational education institutions, especially schools that have been selected for investment planning to become high-quality vocational schools, can apply and develop their own programs. detailed program, organize intensive teaching of specialized English for college-level students studying the above-mentioned professions and professions to meet the requirements of regional and international integration.
